Venison Stew

October 4th, my daughter Jamie showed up with my year old grand-daughter Hailey. She cooked up a fairly good venison stew. Since deer season starts soon I guess she's trying to clean out the freezer. It was made without a recipe. I took some to work and it was pretty good. You couldn’t get Jamie into a kitchen two years ago but since the baby came she seems to be taking a bigger interest in cooking. She finally realized that for a minimal investment in time, equipment and some experimentation you don’t have to eat micro-waved, insert expletive, meals. My grand-daughter turned a year old in August. She is a very happy and inquisitive child who loves here Pa-pa’s BBQ. I mean this child will try anything and likes most of what she tries… She won’t let me hold her long unless I got something cooking on the stove. If I’m cooking she’ll stay in my arms till we can get whatever on a plate and try it out.
