April18th, the Tip of the Week is: If you have troubles with tearing up while chopping onions you can now purchase a set of glasses called RSVP Onion Goggles ($19.95) that according to Consumer Reports work fairly well. I recommend using a less expensive method I saw demonstrated by Mario Batali and which I have tried. Put a wooden spoon between your teeth while chopping those onions.
